PLO Proceedings:

PLO stands for Public Law Outline. This is the last step prior to the Local Authority/Social Services considering issuing care proceedings when they have concerns about potential risks to your child. You will be entitled to Legal Help which means you will not have to pay for any legal advice offered. Care Proceedings:

If you are informed by the Local Authority/Social Services that they will be issuing care proceedings in respect of your child, please contact us immediately so that we can offer you the appropriate legal advice and representation. A parent or a person with parental responsibility for a child who is the subject of care proceedings will automatically qualify for legal aid, meaning you will not have to pay for your legal representation.  You can contact us by telephone 07592 403499, What's App or by email enquiries@adiuvofamilylaw.co.uk and we will respond even outside of working hours. Special Guardianship Orders

We can offer you legal advice regarding becoming a Special Guardian for one of your family members. Such advice is usually paid for by the Local Authority/Social Services and you would have received a letter confirming this. We can provide advice about the support plan and liaise with social services about any additional support you feel you may require. Get in touch with us now.

Services Not Offered

This is a busy practice representing parents and children in relation to care proceedings PLO matters, non-molestation orders and Special Guardianship matters. We are not therefore able to offer advice regarding divorce or financial matters.
